Rajasthan Royals thrashed Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets as they gave a great farewell gift to Shane Warne in his last professional cricket match. Mumbai Indians captain Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and decided to bat. But none of the MI batsmen except Rohit Sharma (58 runs off 47 balls) clicked infront of the Rajasthan bowling as they were restricted to only 133/5 in 20 overs. Shane Watson took 3 wickets for the Royals. In reply, Rajasthan Royals openers Shane Watson (89 runs off 47 balls) and Rahul Dravid (43 runs off 32 balls) plundered the MI bowlers are RR cruised to 134 runs in 13.1 overs without losing even a single wicket. Shane Watson was awarded the Man of the Match for his blazing knock of 89 runs from 47 balls and his 3 wickets for 19 runs in 4 overs.

Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Daredevils by 32 runs at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. DD captain Sehwag won the toss and put Mumbai Indians to bat. Ambati Rayudu (59 runs off 39 balls), Rohit Sharma (49 runs off 32 balls) and Adrien Blizzard (37 runs off 23 balls) helped MI score a massive total of 178/4 in 20 overs. In reply, Delhi Daredevils lost their top 4 in just 7 runs but James Hopes (55 runs off 44 balls), Venugopal Rao (37 runs off 27 balls) and Irfan Pathan (23 runs off 18 balls) helped them somewhat recover though DD finally got all out for 146 runs in 19.5 overs. Lasith Malinga, Munaf Patel, Harbhajan Singh and Keiron Pollard took 2 wickets each for the Mumbai Indians. Ambati Rayudu was awarded the Man of the Match for his knock and agility behind the stumps as well.

Last year’s IPL finalist Mumbai Indians defeated the IPL champions Chennai Super Kings by 8 run by virtue of an all round performance by the team. Chennai captain Dhoni won the toss and put Mumbai Indians to bat. After some initial hiccups, Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant 87 runs off 48 balls and was well supported by Andrew Symonds (31 runs off 26 balls) and Ambati Rayudu (27 runs off 29 balls) as they scored 164/4 in 20 overs. Doug Bollinger took two wickets for CSK. Chennai Super Kings replied very well with Subramanium Badrinath (71 runs off 48 balls) and Michael Hussey (41 runs off 33 balls) playing good knocks but hardly anybody else could even cross double digits as they ended up with 156/9 in their 20 overs. Harbhajan Singh took 5 wickets for 18 runs while Lasith Malinga contributed with 2 wickets. Harbhajan was awarded the Man of the Match for his bowling performance.

Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 9 wickets today. Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and put Royal Challengers Bangalore to bat. Royal Challengers struggled to get any decent run rate through the first half of their innings and they could only reach a score of 140/4 in their 20 overs as Dilshan and AB De Villiers scored 59 runs and 38 runs respectively. Malinga and Pollard took two wickets each for the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai in return cruised along and reached 143/1 in 18.3 overs as Sachin Tendulkar (55 runs off 46 balls), Ambati Rayadu (63 runs off 50 balls) and Davy Jacobs (22 runs off 16 balls) scored at brisk pace. Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the Man of the Match.
