Tendulkar XI vs Ganguly XI charity T20 match on March 6, 2010 4

Th GOD of cricket Sachin Tendulkar and former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly will lead their respective teams as they clash in a T20 match on Saturday, 6th March, 2010 at 4:30 PM Indian Time. The match named “Cricket Ka Mahayudh” will be played at the Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai. It has also been termed as a SABM (Salil Ankola Benefit Match) and will be a T20 match. The gates will open at 2 PM and the toss would take place at 4:15 PM. The Match will be telecast on Star Cricket.

Deccan Charges thrash Delhi Daredevils by 6 wickets to reach IPL 2 finals 0

In the first semi-final of IPL T20 season 2, Delhi Daredevils were the favorites to win the match against Deccan Chargers. However, Deccan Chargers captain had something else in mind. Adam Gilchrist won the toss and put Delhi Daredevils to bat. Most of the Delhi Daredevils batsmen struggled with the bat and the team reached 153/8 in 20 overs guided by a valuable innings from Tillakaratne Dilshan (65 off 51 balls) and Virender Sehwag (39 off 31 balls). Ryan Harris and R P Singh were the pick of the Deccan Chargers bowlers with bowling figures of 3/27 and 2/33 respectively. Adam Gilchrist came to the crease and hit the bowlers for fours and sixes as he took the game away from the Delhi Dardevils. Adam Gilchrist scored the fastest ever 50 in IPL by hitting a 17 balls 50 on way to score a brilliant 85 runs off 35 balls. Deccan Chargers reached 154/4 in merely 17.4 overs. Adam Gilchrist was awarded the Man of the Match for his blazing knock.

In Match 55 of IPL T20 season 2, Virender Sehwag won the toss and put Mumbai Indians to bat. Mumbai Indians reached a score of 165/8 in 20 overs with Sachin Tendulkar (46 off 41 balls) and Ajinkya Rahane (56 off 41 balls) playing great knocks. Dirk Nannes and Pradeep Sangwan were the pick of the Delhi Daredevils bowlers with bowling figures of 3/27 and 2/28 respectively. Delhi Daredevils cruised to 166/6 in 17.3 overs with both the normal openers Virender Sehwag (50 off 27 balls) and Gautam Gambhir (47 off 38 balls) regaining their form. Harbhajan Singh was the pick of the Mumbai Indian bowlers and picked up 4 wickets for 17 runs. Virender Sehwag was awarded the Man of the Match for his knock.

Yusuf Pathan shines again as Rajasthan Royals beat Delhi Daredevils 0

Yusuf Pathan saved the match for the Rajasthan Royals once again as he hit a blazing 62 off 30 balls with six 6s guiding them to victory. Virender Sehwag won the toss and decided to bat. Most of the Delhi Daredevils batsmen failed yet again and Delhi could only score 143/7 in their 20 overs by virtue of a 50 by AB De Villiers off 40 balls. Shane Warne, Munaf Patel and Dimitri Mascarenhas took 2 wickets each for the Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals also kept on loosing frequent wickets as they came to bat though Graeme Smith (44 off 46 balls) was consistent on one end. The Royals were struggling at 64/5 after 11 overs when Shane Warne got out but Yusuf Pathan came to the rescue once again and his powerful hitting helped the Rajasthan Royals reach the target in 18.3 overs. Amit Mishra performed well for the Delhi Daredevils with his bowling spell of 3 wickets for 34 runs. Yusuf Pathan was awarded the Man of the Match for his blazing 62 off 30 balls and the maximum sixes award for this six 6s in the match.
