KKR captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and put Pune Warriors to bat. None of the Sahara Pune Warriors batsmen scored big as KKR bowlers bowled well and restricted PW to only 118/7 in 20 overs. Yusuf Pathan, Shakib Al Hassan and Lakshmipathy Balaji took 2 wickets each for KKR. In reply, Gautam Gambhir (54 runs n.o. off 46 balls) lead from the front and was supported by Yusuf Pathan (29 runs off 25 balls) and Manoj Tiwary (24 runs off 24 balls) as they cruised to 119/3 in 16.4 overs. Yusuf Pathan was awarded the Man of his Match for his all round performance including his 2 wickets for 23 runs in 4 overs, knock of 29 runs off 25 balls and catch of Saurav Ganguly in the field.</p>

Robin Uthappa was the highest scorer for Pune Warriors with 45 runs off 37 balls while Munaf Patel (3 wickets for 8 runs), Abu Nechim Ahmed (2 wickets for 13 runs), Ali Murtaza (2 wickets for 18 runs) and Lasith Malinga (2 wickets for 28 runs) were the main wicket takers fro the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indians made a slow and steady chase in reply and scored the winning runs off the last ball of the innings as Rohit Sharma hit Murali Kartik for a six to reach 124/3. Sachin Tendulkar (35 runs off 39 balls) and Ambati Rayudu (37 runs off 40 balls) were the highest scorers for Mumbai. Delhi Daredevils captain Virender Sehwag won the toss and put Sahara Pune Warriors to bat. Jessie Ryder scored a blazing 60 runs of merely 27 balls and Yuvraj Singh played a brilliant innings of 66 runs off 32 balls as Pune Warriors reached a mammoth total of 187/5 in their 20 overs. Ashok Dinda and Shahbaz Nadeem took two wickets each for the Delhi Daredevils. In reply, Delhi Daredevils went off to a flyer as David Warner (46 runs off 28 balls) and Virender Sehwag (37 runs off 23 balls) scored 75 runs in just 7 overs. After the opening partnership, they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals mainly due to a brilliant bowling spell by Yuvraj Singh (4 wickets for 29 runs) but they managed to reach 190/7 in 19.2 overs mainly due to some last minute efforts by Venugopal Rao (31 runs off 20 balls), Aaron Finch (25 runs off 12 balls) and James Hopes (13 runs off 4 balls). 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Yuvraj Singh captain Sahara Pune Warriors to a 7 wicket win over his former IPL team Kings XI Punjab at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. King XI Punjab captain Adam Gilchrist won the toss and decided to bat first. But they were decimated by the Pune bowling and Ryan McLaren (51 runs off 43 balls) was their successful batsman as they scored 112/8 in 20 overs. Shrikant Wagh and Alfonso Thomas took 3 wickets and 2 wickets respectively for the Pune Warriors. Pune Warriors in return lost Graeme Smith off the first ball but then Jesse Ryder (31 off 17 balls), Mithun Manhas (35 off 32 balls), Robin Uthappa (22 off 14 balls) and Yuvraj Singh (21 off 15 balls) guided the debutant franchisee to victory in just 13.1 overs. Shrikant Wagh was adjudged the Man of the Match for his brilliant bowling performance. </p>

<p>All the 10 teams participating in IPL 2011 Season 4 including the two new entrants Sahara Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala have announced their final list of players in their respective teams. Out of the teams, Sahara Pune Warriors is the only team to have registered their full quota of 30 players in the squad. Delhi Daredevils were also close behind with 29 players while Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers and Rajasthan Royals named 27 players each in their final squads. Royal Challengers Bangalore listed 25 players and Kings XI Punjab 23 players. Kolkata Knight Riders named the least number of players amongst all the franchisees as they went ahead with only 20 players including 7 foreign players.</p>
<p>In terms of spending, Mumbai Indians were left with only $1739 from their $9 million purse after all their player purchases. Rajasthan Royals were the only franchisee to exhaust their full purse while Deccan Chargers had the maximum amount left of $1.49 million after their player purchases followed by KXIP who had $1.46 million (approx) left.</p>
