Deccan Chargers beat Kolkata Knight Riders in a thriller in Match 48 of IPL T20 season 2. Adam Gilchrist won the toss and put Kolkata Knight Riders to bat. Kolkata Knight Riders reached to a decent total of 160/5 in 20 overs with Brad Hodge (48 off 41 balls) and David Hussey (43 off 17 balls) playing brilliant innings. Deccan Chargers started the chase very well and Adam Gilchrist (43 off 31 balls) hit fours and sixes making it look easy chase for the Chargers. But then he got out and other wickets also fell in quick succession which increased the pressure and the required run rate.
