Chennai Super Kings defeat Bangalore Royal Challengers in a thriller at Mumbai to confirm their berth in IPL 4 finals. Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and put Royal Challengers Bangalore to bat. Virat Kohli scored 70 runs off 44 balls and was supported by Mayank Agarwal (34 runs off 33 balls) and Luke Pomersbach (29 runs off 18 balls) as they guided Bangalore to 175/4 in 20 overs. In reply, Chennai lost both their openers and it looked in the middle overs as if they were heading for a defeat. Chennai Super Kings thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 63 runs at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur which has always been regarded as a sort of fortress for the RR team where they have been nearly impossible to beat all these years. Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne won the toss and put CSK to bat.
