Bangalore Royal Challengers thrashed Sahara Pune Warriors by 26 runs at Bangalore to score their third consecutive win. Pune Warriors captain Yuvraj Singh won the toss and put Bangalore to bat. Chris Gayle blazed off as he scored 49 runs off 26 balls and then Virat Kohli continued as he scored 67 runs off 42 balls. Pune Warriors once again kept on losing wickets and the captain Yuvraj Singh has to step up himself as he scored 62 runs off 43 balls to guide Pune to 141/6 in 20 overs with some support from Robin Uthappa (31 runs off 22 balls). Doug Bollinger took 3 wickets for CSK. In reply, Chennai Super Kings almost cruised to the total as Subramanium Badrinath (63 runs off 44 balls), Suresh Raina (34 runs off 25 balls) and Murali Vijay (31 runs off 31 balls) helped CSK reach 145/2 in 19.3 overs.
